I really discovered Kristin's music only two days ago, and I marvel at her versatility, but the track I keep on playing comes from her album "AS I am" and is called "The Song Remembers When". How many of us have had that experience of standing in a store, or a coffee shop or anywhere, suddenly a song starts to play, and we are thrown back to a long-forgotten time. It happened to me recently in a super market, and I had a hard struggle not to cry.

Later in the episode, you can hear the full, uninterrupted version of this song playing quietly beneath the action

Which means they did record a full version

When, oh when, will we be able to hear it?? I want so badly to have the full version of this song!

The PD CD covers only season 1. Is there any hope that this song will be made available to the public? Want want want.

Hi, there. I've been waiting two years since I first heard that Kristin was going to sing at the Met during the 2009-2010 season, and that the part was specifically being rewritten for her voice. I heard Kristin sing a little opera on her NPR interview and was completely thrilled!

But I just checked the Met 2009-2010 schedule and didn't find her. I also googled Kristin/Met Opera and couldn't find any news.

Does anyone have an update? I have been saving up to have a grand vacation in NYC and hear Kristin sing at the Met .... I hope there are still plans for her to do so???

Everyone already knows that Kristin has a Christmas album...
What I didn't know was that there is 2 hidden songs that (A lovely way to spend Christmas and The lords Prayer) , on itunes, says is only in the CD.
I bought the CD but it didn't have the songs on it.
Does anyone know where I can find the two songs?????????????

I'm sure we have all seen the YouTube video where Kristen sings "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Is it possible to record this song on the next album???? I don't think since Judy Garland has there been a person with a voice who could sing this iconic song. Kristen if you get this message.... Please!! I would like nothing more than to hear you sing this song from beginning to end.

hi, I live south of Sydney. I visited NY for the first time 3 years ago and saw Kristin Chenoweth in 'Wicked'. She was, of course FABULOUS. It was a thrill for me to be on Broadway, seeing a show - a lifelong dream. I think I was a New Yorker in a past life because I almost tap danced down 42nd Street. I bought the book of the show and the cd. The George Gershwin theatre was also wonderful. I also bought 30 cds, mostly Broadway shows, at Virgin. Life is happiness indeed.
