A TRUE PERFORMER
Hi Everyone,
A true performer/artist is one who can do anything he or she sets his or her mind to.
Kristin is a preformer/artist.
Sure she's great with a full orchestra backing her up, but how is she with just a piano player.
I'll tell you how she is..."She Is Awesome."
The concert which was a benefit show to help raise funds for "REPRISE" (a local theatre group in West Los Angeles ran by KC's friend Jason Alexander aka George on Sienfeld) was fabulous.
The show was performed as follows:
Act 1, Kristin singing her usual tour songs.
No Intermission, but Kristin doing a live Q & A session with the audience (that was worth the price of admission).
Act 2, Kristin singing her usual tour songs.
Her voice was incredible tonight. Her comedy was outstanding. Her hair, appearence and dress, stunning I have never seen her look so radiant.
There was a political moment she addressed that lead into a beuatiful song from the Civil War, but the way she addressed it was so diplomatic and humbling, I have to say I was so very proud of her. Well done KC, well done.
What a wonderful performance. After the show KC talked to most everyone who waited at the stage door. She also told me it only took 2 takes for the famous Locker Scene from Pushing Daisies where Olive and Chuck are locked in a locker together.
Not many performers do benefits and meet and greet fans like KC does. I think this is why she is so special to so many.
Yours from the Land of LA (and the campus of UCLA where this performance took place)
