.I saw Kristin in the original broadway production of WICKED and later in THE APPLE TREE. Her portrayal of Eve in the Diary of Adam and Eve segment was so expressive and poignant I was moved to tears. Kristen truly captured that sense of wonder and sensitivity of woman experiencing the world for the first time. I went back a few days later to see THE APPLE TREE again and I was not disappointed. Kristen's performance that night was differently nuanced but equally effective. As the truly great artist that she is, she remained attentive to the fluidity of that particular evening's performance. I also continue to enjoy Kristin's artistry as captured on the dvd of a concert performance of Leonard Bernstein's CANDIDE and on her three cds', the most recent being this wonderful Christmas CD. It's filled with evidence of Kristen's expressive singing and her joy in living--it's fun, spirit-filled, playful and prayerful-this is how she comes across live on stage, too. This woman is in touch with the pulse of the human condition and the gifts of the Spirit! What a marvelous vocalist and performing artist! A treasure!

I live in the UK, and have only just discovered this amazing voice. I'll keep an eye on this site, and maybe one day if I'm lucky I'll get to see her live too.

Lulu.

How was Wicked? I've always wanted to see it.

Was wondering, James, if you and your wife will be catching any of her Il Divo guest performance concerts in NY or Boston ?
Would really like to hear what they sounded like - if only on UTube. Quite a fabulous combination, without question.
